Proximity hospitals - Decentralisation and bringing healthcare closer to Angola's provinces

3 Hospitals in Angola – General Hospital in Kwanza Norte Province / General Hospital in Kwanza Sul Province / General Hospital in Bengo Province

Health is one of the essential pillars we need to ensure, especially in Africa. To enable access to hospitals and healthcare in Angola’s remote areas , three hospitals were built:

  • The General Hospital in Kwanza Norte Province;
  • The General Hospital in Kwanza Sul Province;
  • The General Hospital in Bengo Province.

These hospitals will provide specialised in-patient healthcare. It includes an emergency services unit, maternity ward, outpatient care, operating theatre, ICU, inpatient and imaging units, as well as all the technical and logistical support for its operation.
