Creating a New Cross-Border Road Connection Between Romania and Hungary

Satu Mare–Oar Express Road Connection

Linking Romania’s road network directly with Hungary’s M49 Express Road, the Satu Mare–Oar connection strengthens cross-border connectivity at a strategic point in Satu Mare County. Extending from the Satu Mare Ring Road to the Romanian–Hungarian border, the project involved developing the feasibility and technical design basis for a new express road connecting the two national networks.

From feasibility through to execution-level design, Quadrante contributed to the development of the new express road between Satu Mare and Oar. The scope comprised the preparation of the Feasibility Study and the Technical Execution Project for the new-build infrastructure, supporting the definition and subsequent development of the planned connection to Hungary’s M49 Express Road.
