Creating Space for the Next Generation of Airport Operations

Pinto Martins International Airport Expansion

The expansion and refurbishment of Pinto Martins International Airport formed part of a wider programme of investment in Brazilian airport infrastructure. The project envisaged additions to the existing passenger terminal and subsequent renovation of the original building.

The planned development included east and west terminal extensions of approximately 20,630 m² and 3,170 m², respectively. Quadrante was responsible for foundation design, reinforced-concrete and steel structures, and hydraulic installations associated with the expansion works.
