Morgavel Solar Photovoltaic Plant

The Morgavel Solar Photovoltaic Plant in Sines has a capacity of 46 MWac and brings multiple benefits by promoting the production of clean, renewable energy.

This project significantly reduces carbon emissions, contributes to environmental sustainability and reduces dependence on fossil fuels.

Morgavel positions Sines as a leader in energy transition, strengthening Portugal’s commitment to a greener and more sustainable future, and will consist of installing 90,832 bifacial modules of 540 Wp, capable of absorbing solar radiation from both sides.

It has the capacity to supply the equivalent of around 42,000 Portuguese homes, which is enough to meet the entire domestic electricity consumption of the Municipality of Sines.
