New Libreville International Airport

The new Libreville International Airport is a significant milestone in developing and modernising transport infrastructure in Gabon.

This project is essential to strengthening the country’s global connectivity, promoting economic growth, tourism and international trade.

Its airport was refurbished to become a regional hub. Using the same runway, a new Terminal, administrative and auxiliary buildings, a power station, road access, a new car park and new Taxiway and Apron platforms were built.

Impact

Quadrante Group developed the entire masterplan, as well as the architectural and engineering projects for the Terminal, other buildings, infrastructure on the land side and the Taxiway and Apron on the air side. This will be a challenging project, where sustainability and the passenger experience will be the focus.
