Engineering the Systems Behind Barcelona Airport’s Terminal 1

Barcelona Airport Terminal 1 – MEP Systems

Barcelona Airport’s Terminal 1 required a comprehensive building services infrastructure to support the operation of one of Spain’s major aviation hubs. Meta Engineering, now operating as Quadrante Global , contributed to the development of the terminal through the design and supervision of its new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

The scope covered the Detailed Design and Construction Supervision of the new MEP systems for Terminal 1 at Barcelona Airport. The project integrated key technical installations including air conditioning and ventilation, natural gas, communications and fire protection systems, bringing together the building services required to support the terminal’s operational infrastructure.
