Design and Construction of the interchange and local roads in Suame

The project for an Interchange on Suame Roundbout and the modernising of 7 km of Principal Roads and 15 km of local critical roads in Suame is central to the region’s development and a key investment for the future, as it boosts economic growth, improves inhabitants’ quality of life and strengthens local infrastructure.

The project’s overall objective is to develop an efficient and integrated road network by modernising roads and levelling intersections, including an interchange with 4 different levels, widening Offinso Road from 2×2 to 2×3, building five roundabouts with four overpasses and one underpass to facilitate traffic and upgrading 15 km of local roads.

The project’s sustainable dimension has been considered, particularly with the photovoltaic panels’ usage for public lighting along with the adoption of the milling technique, which reduces the environmental impact and promotes the efficient use of resources.
